Bugggy is screen review for design teams and the people who sign off on their work. This page says what we collect, why, who helps us process it, and how to have it removed. Questions go to hello@bugggy.com.
What we collect
- Your account: your name, email address, the workspaces you belong to and your settings. You sign in with a code we email you, so we never store a password.
- What your team puts in Bugggy: screens, PDFs, comments, drawings, approvals, recordings and files.
- Website comments: when someone comments on a site through the Bugggy script, we keep the comment, a screenshot of what was in view, the page address, the browser and screen size, and any console errors or failed requests on the page. Before a screenshot is sent, Bugggy offers to blur or black out anything that looks like a password, card number, email address or phone number.
- Public feedback: if a site turns this on, visitors can comment without an account. An email address is optional and only used to tell them when their comment is resolved.
- Usage: how much storage, AI and bandwidth a workspace uses, so we can bill for it, and the server logs every web service keeps to stay up and secure.
What we do with it
We use it to run Bugggy for you: to show your team its work, send the emails you ask for (login codes, review requests, reminders and digests), keep the records of who signed off, and bill for the plan you chose. We do not sell personal data, and we do not use it for advertising.
Bugggy sends transactional email only: login codes, invitations, rounds sent to you, reminders, digests and notifications. You can turn reminders and digests off in your notification settings. We do not send marketing email from the product.
Who processes it for us
- Supabase, for the database and file storage.
- Our hosting providers, to run the website and the app.
- Postmark, to send email.
- Anthropic, for AI summaries and suggested tags on website comments, when a workspace uses them.
- Cloudflare Turnstile, to keep spam out of public feedback, when a site turns it on.
- Apple and Google, to deliver push notifications to the mobile app.
How long we keep it
We keep your team's work while the workspace exists. Workspace owners choose how long recordings and archived rounds are kept, and lowering a keeping time says how much would go before anything is removed. Public feedback videos are kept for 30 days unless the workspace changes it.
Your choices
A workspace owner can export everything in a workspace at any time, and can delete projects, rounds and screens. To have your account or a workspace removed, or to ask what we hold about you, email hello@bugggy.com.
Cookies
The app sets only the cookies it needs to sign you in and finish what you started, such as a guest review or signing in with Google. None of them track you, and this website sets no cookies at all.
Changes
If this page changes in a way that matters, we will say so in the app and in the changelog, and the date at the top will change.
